This Safari start off from Kigali with you heading to Nyungwe National Park - This is one of the oldest rain forests in Africa. Nyungwe is also the major catchment area in Rwanda, and supplies water to 70% of the country. Here you will have a chance to track the Chimpanzees and walk on the Canopy walk way - Suspended above a ravine in the lush montane rainforest of Nyungwe National Park, the canopy walkway provides an exhilarating perspective on the ancient treetops and wildlife. The tour will also take you to Nyanza where you will tour the Palace & Museum as you head back to Kigali.

Day 1: Depart for Nyungwe.
This morning after meet & Greet and briefing you will start your journey to Nyungwe National Park. Arriving in time for lunch. Check In, Freshen up, Have lunch then after a bit of relaxation depart for the Canopy walk. This trip will allow you see the forest from above you will also spot some of the parks inhabitants. You will return to Lodge for Dinner & Over Night.
Nyungwe Forest National Park still contains the montane rainforest in East Africa. The suspended canopy walk, offering a bird’s eye view into the dense forest.
Day 2: Track Chimpanzee.
Gear up this morning for a trek & tracking activities . After breakfast you will be taken to the briefing point where you will be told about the Chimpanzee, the DO'S & DONT'S . After all this with a guide & Rangers you will start your tracking. Ones you meet the Chimpanzees families you will be allowed 1 hour with them. This will include taking photos. Please note use of camera flash is prohibited as this will agitate or scare the animal. After this expedition return back to Lodge to freshen up & have lunch. Then start your journey back to Kigali.
On your way to Kigali you will stop at Nyanza. This is was ones the capital of the Rwanda Kingdom. The King’s Palace is less about ancient history and more about royal residences. A guided tour explains some of the architectural idiosyncrasies inside the royal compound and other curiosities such as why the woman who looked after the king’s milk was never able to marry
After being immersed in history & culture continue on to Kigali. You will be dropped off at the airport/Home/Hotel.
