Day 1: Depart to Murchison Fall National Park - Stop Over Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Pick up from your Hotel/Home or airport after small briefing start your trip to Murchison. After 2 - 3 hrs arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking.
Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch located in Nakasongola district is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda Enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are.You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
After the Tracking continue your journey to Murchison. Having an amazing Game Drive before going to lodge/camp for check in & Dinner.
Day 2: Full Day at the Murchison Falls National Park.
You will depart for an early morning game drive as its the best time to sight most of the animals inthere natuaral habitats.Come back to the lodge/camp have some free time then after lunch go for an afternoon waterfall boat cruise to the bottom of the falls with en-route sights of hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles and various bird species. Also you will hike to the top of Murchison falls after all this adventure return back to Lodge/Camp. Over Night & Dinner.
Also known as the Kabalega National Park, the Murchison Falls National Park is popularly known for having the world’s most powerful waterfall that emits large volumes of water about 300 cubic meters per second or 11,000 ft³/s at a very powerful pressure that cause the surrounding to tremble. The park was first gazetted in 1927 and today is the largest park in Uganda covering an area of 3840 sq km / 1483 sq miles. And is rich with diverse wild Life.
Day 3: Kibale National Park
With and option of a last early morning Game Drive & after breakfast and checking out. You will start your journey to Fort Portal. Enjoy the scenery enroute to your Camp/Lodge. Arrive in time late lunch. Check in & Relax. Over Night at Camp Lodge of choice.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today you will gear up for an amazing tracking in Kibale forest. You will track chimpanzees and if you are a lover of birds try to site the 375 species found in the forest.. After the amazing morning experience and lunch you will start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enter and continue your afternoon game drive before being transferred to your Camp/lodge for Dinner & Over Night.
Kibale National Park in Uganda is home to over 1500 Chimpanzees. It is the premium chimpanzee tracking location in the whole of Africa it contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. Forest cover, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, dominates the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enjoy an early morning Game Drive where you will site the big 5 and many habitants of the Park. Come back to Camp/Lodge for breakfast, relax then after lunch depart for the Kazinga Channel Cruise. Coming back to Camp/Lodge for Dinner & Over Night.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. The park’s diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds.
Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Mountains, the park’s magnificent vistas include dozens of enormous craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel with its banks lined with hippos, buffalo and elephants, and the endless Ishasha plains, whose fig trees hide lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kob
Day 6: Ishasha Home of the Tree Climbing Lions. - Drive to Bwindi.
After breakfast & Check out head to Ishasha which is part of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. In this park we will search for the Tree climbing lions. After this amazing expedition we will continue on to Bwindi Impenetrable. Check in and enjoy remainder of day. Over Night at Camp/Lodge of choice.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a good night restful sleep & breakfast. You will be taken to the briefing point where you will be briefed about Gorillas, DO'S & DONT'S & about your the Tracking. All this will be done by the Uganda Wildlife Guides & Rangers. After the mini sessions you will depart for your tracking accompanied by the Uganda Wildlife Rangers & Guide. Its advisable to take a Porter who will assist with carrying your items.(also its a way of promoting the community).After Tracking & spending time with the Gorillas you will head back to the briefing point whereby you will be awarded your Tracking certificates. You will then be taken back to your lodge/camp. Dinner & Overnight.
Uganda Gorilla tracking guidelines & rules:
No smoking is allowed while with the gorilla premises or within a distance of 200 meters from the gorillas.
Keep a distance of 7 meters (21 feet) from the Gorilla.
Do not use flash when taking photos as they may scare & agitate the Gorillas.
Silence should be maintained at all time - Do not make loud noises.
In case of Flu, communicable diseases or even Diarhea or you will not be permitted to Track.
Always stay in a tight group while with the gorillas and do not surround the Gorillas while meeting them.
Persons aged below 15 years are not allowed to do gorilla tracking.
All covid protocals should be followed. Always have your mask on.
What to carry:
Wear comfortable hiking shoes or closed boots suitable for steep muddy slopes
Carry a packed lunch and enough drinking water.
Don’t forget to carry rain gear, weather gloves, sunscreen lotion and a hat as the Bwindi has unpredictable weather.
Carry with you insect repellent.
You can carry photo camera though using flashlight is not allowed in use during the encounter with Gorillas.
Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast depart to Lake Bunyonyi. You will enjoy some activities ie Zip Lining over the lake, Canoeing as you pass different islands with your guide explaining and naming each one. Accommodation and dinner at Bird nest Bunyonyi Resort.
DAY 9: BACK TO KAMPALA/ENTEBBE
After lunch & check out you will start you drive back to either Kampala or Entebbe. You will be dropped at the airport or Hotel of choice(extra night not included in quote).
